Established in 2006
Café Africa is the secretariat of the Uganda Coffee Platform (UCP).
Established in 2006, it is the oldest coffee country platform in the Global Coffee Platform (GCP) network.
It aims to create a well-informed, productive, efficient, sustainable, respected, and professional coffee value chain that fairly benefits all actors and the country at large.
UCP is the coordination unit for the implementation of EUDR and CSDDD National Action Plan
THE STRUCTURE
Uganda Coffee Platform Structure
The National Coffee Strategic Plan 2015-2020 defines the need for a multi-sector approach in the implementation of the development of the sub-sector.
The Uganda Coffee Platform echoes this with participation from sector-wide implementers of the coffee strategy
